Jennifer is a trained dancer, dance teacher, and Comprehensively Certified Classical Pilates instructor. She has trained in various forms of dance throughout her life and studied at The Boston Conservatory to receive her BFA in Dance performance before moving to NYC after graduation in 2008.

Jennifer fell in love with Pilates soon after moving to the city where she discovered how beneficial it was to her dance career and the overall wellness and strength of her body. She received her Pilates Mat Certification from Core Pilates NYC in June 2015 and continued on to complete the 600-hour Comprehensive Certification Program at Core Pilates NYC in April 2018. Jennifer is also certified to teach pre/postnatal Pilates and Advanced Work on the Mat and Reformer/Cadillac.

Soon after graduating, she joined CPNYC's staff of instructors in May of 2018 and soon after joined Core’s Faculty of teacher trainers. Jennifer was Director of CPNYC’s Education program for 5 years and feels honored to have been a part of so many people's journey into the world of teaching classical Pilates. She has also taught at The Yoga Room LIC, TONE Pilates and Wellness, Positively Pilates, Aline Pilates in Carroll Gardens, and privately in Sunnyside, Queens.

Jennifer opened her own studio, The Pilates Solution, in Pleasantville, NY in 2023 and is thrilled to be cultivating her own community of Pilates lovers in Westchester. Jennifer's goal as an instructor is to use her knowledge of the body to help her clients feel stronger and bring them closer to their personal body goals while walking away from their session feeling amazing about themselves. She believes Pilates is for EVERY body type and instills confidence in those who work with her. Jennifer loves Pilates, meeting new people, and can't wait to work with you!

Dana Estin Berk

Dana began her professional Pilates career after being introduced to the unbelievable benefits experienced through her practice since 2017. In order to avoid additional surgeries, she was introduced to her first mentor and has been obsessed with Pilates ever since. After years of being a Pilates student, it was apparent that Dana drank the ‘Pilates Kool-Aid’ and never looked back.

Dana earned her 600-hour Comprehensive Training Course certification from Core Pilates in NYC and has been devoting herself to clients looking for a change in their mind and body through classical Pilates.

The introduction to Pilates has changed the entire way Dana holds her body and how she moves through the world. She integrates the six principles of Pilates into her daily life and has never felt more connected to her mind and/or her body.

Amelia cultivates a curiosity and appreciation for movement, and clients can expect to be appropriately challenged in her classes. Her goal is for clients to become strong, confident movers, who can transition from the studio into their daily routines with vitality and ease.

Jen Lifschutz

Jen found Pilates from a Physical Therapist that told her it would help her posture, and it did. Ten years later, she is still practicing, because what kept her coming back was more than posture. Developing your powerhouse, the deep core muscles at the center of Pilates workouts, changes how you stand, how you move, and how you feel.

Once she felt that change, she could not keep it to herself. Jen has introduced many of her friends and family to Pilates, and they have felt the difference in their own bodies too. Getting the people she loves into it, and watching it help them, is what led her to teach and earn her 600-hour Comprehensive Certification from Core Pilates in NYC.

Before teaching, Jen was a retail buyer, a teacher, and a stay-at-home mom, so she knows what it means to fit taking care of yourself into everything else. She also works out at The Pilates Solution herself, and is proud to be part of this community on both sides of the studio.

She especially loves working with people of all ages who are new to Pilates or coming back after a fitness break, and taking the time to help them experience what it can do for them.

Denise Maloney

Denise is passionate about all things holistic, with a background in Massage Therapy. Mat Pilates, yoga, and strength training were favorite forms of exercise for many years. After feeling the therapeutic benefits of the Pilates apparatus during mat Pilates teacher training, she absolutely knew she wanted to be comprehensively trained.

After completing her 488 hour program through Balanced Body in 2015, she was teaching at health clubs, PT offices, and boutique studios, making a career out of helping others discover the health-giving possibilities of the full system.

Other restorative modality certifications of her’s include Low Pressure Fitness (Hypopressives), ELDOA, Myo-Fascial stretching. Denise also continues her education through on-going SOMA training courses.

Joanne Goldstein

Joanne has been living in Westchester for 26 years. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she worked as a graphic designer in Manhattan after graduating from college with a BA in Art and Education. Putting her career on hold for her three children, she discovered the world of Pilates existed right here in her backyard at the Art of Control on the campus of SUNY Purchase.

Joanne became a student at the studio and loved the changes she saw in her body. With the prospect of an "empty nest" approaching, she decided to study and became a certified instructor. With her certification and many continuing education workshops, she is a devoted teacher of the original method and continues to be a dedicated student because there is always more to learn.
